Commercial EPC’s for the Derby and Nottingham area
All commercial buildings which are let, leased or going to market for sale require a current Energy Performance Certificate (EPC), known as a non-domestic EPC (NDEPC). Over the last fifteen years, Energy Performance Consultants have issued thousands of certificates to every type of building, whatever the size and complexity for properties the length and breadth of the country.
Those for let or lease currently have to reach a Band E or better on the A (good) to G scale for the property to be let. From 2031, private rented non-domestic buildings over 1,000 square metres will need to achieve an EPC B standard, with buildings less than 1,000 square metres following the existing E requirement. Those Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards (MEES) have influenced our work over the years, and we are well equipped to advise on improvements. We can recommend cost-effective measures to enable the building to reach the required standard drawing on over twenty years of experience in doing so.
In addition we have issued many on-construction Energy Performance Certificates to new-builds, working with and advising architects and self-build project managers at the design stage, to ensure their work meets with the ever-tightening standards of energy efficiency within building compliance.
